Santa Clara Beach on the Yucatan Coast

In September we went with our friends to the beach and restaurant in Santa Clara on a Sunday afternoon. It was great! The little restaurant was right on the beach with little palapas and a boat that the kids were able to play on for hours! At one point Scott had helped the kids catch a little crab that kept them occupied for quite a while as well. Evan found a rope on the top of the boat which allowed him to swing around as well. This was George’s first time on the beaches in Mexico and he was hot but seemed ok.

Vida and Findley, took off on their own little adventure down the beach which Scott had to chase after them. He brought them back and the crab as well.

Of course, typical of a restaurant on the beach, we had fried fish! The battered fish and kids meals were great as well. I cannot remember the name of the restaurant or how to get there as I just followed the other cars, but it was great! If you are ever driving along the coast and need a place to eat on a sunny day, this is definitely a good spot.
