Looking forward to spending time with the parents and taking them on lots of excursions. Told them we found a Caribbean cruise today leaving from Progreso port for only $300/person…then told them the boat had three sails! They are waiting for the next boat!

    Hi Kurt and family,
Kurt, I was your teacher when you were a wee lad in Little People’s daycare. Your mom and I reunited in university. She has always kept me abreast of your life. I am delighted to read about your latest life adventures. Having travelled a fair bit and having lived on another country, I know the experience will never leave you.
I enjoy your blog. Thanks for doing such a great job of chronicling the journey. Continue to embrace it fully.

      Hello Carol!
Great to hear from you again, it has been many years. I think the last time may have been a fondue at your house but I may be mistaken. We are certainly enjoying the experience so far and cannot believe how many memories you can create in a short period of time.
      Thank you for post :)

Yup. Really looking forward to our visit. Tickets purchased. Dad’s already weighing and measuring bags as he’s sure I will never be able to fit into the baggage allotment provided. Have to admit that travelling in a motorhome has distinct advantages! But at this point, we are definitely passing up this “too good to be true” offer for a cruise. Only three more months worth of sleeps before we come. Yeah!!!!! MOM

You know you will pack way more than you need! the weather is looking like it will be in the mid 20’s all the time and cooling down to high teen’s at night. Some people think it is cool already… I actually wore jeans out the other night to a beach restaurant – more in defense of the mosquitoes but it was a nice breeze off the ocean.

Only need to bring shorts, swimsuits, casual shirts and maybe a light coat for the evenings on the town.

After reading all the new posts up to October 23rd, we really don’t see how we will be able to:
    1. Wait until January to come
    2. Leave on the agreed upon date.

We are getting more and more excited to come for our visit. Not sure why we were so nice about waiting till after Christmas. But grandpa put up the Christmas lights yesterday and today so we will enjoy Christmas with Christy and her kids before we leave to see you guys.

You are welcome at any time! There is always room and we certainly don’t want you to rush home. There is so much to do and see, you will never get to do all of it in three short weeks.
We are looking forward to the time you will be here. The stores here are all full of Christmas decorations and we cannot wait for the Christmas season to arrive. Noah proclaimed that perhaps Santa would be arriving via a wind-surfer at Christmas in Mexico.
