Taekwondo exam – Evan and Noah

Evan and Noah participated in their second Taekwondo exam in Merida at the Bancario complex in early March. Evan was going for his yellow belt, and Noah was just leveling up. Noah’s next exam will be for his yellow belt. Each of the exams cost 600 pesos. Their instructor, Andre, was the person giving commands and having them work through their routines which I believe really helped them as they were familiar with him.

Evan and Noah both did great in their exams and I was very proud of them. We had practiced for weeks on the routines each of them had to memorize and then perform in front of the instructors. I had made short video of their instructor demonstrating each of the routines, and then we played it over and over as they practiced. People would walk by on the beach and recognize that the boys were in Taekwondo! It was pretty cute and they did not get embarrassed too badly. There is a video of each of them below the slideshow.
